Company History
| May 1970 | Established as Asahi Rubber, a limited company, in Kamiaoki, Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama. |
| June 1976 | Established as Asahi Rubber Inc. in Edobukuro, Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama. Succeeded in developing rubber for coloring, currently known "ASA COLOR LAMPCAP",and began production. Began production of Holder, high-precision rubber products used in electronic devices. |
| November 1976 | Passed four UL safety standards, becoming a UL certified factory. |
| March 1980 | Moved head office and factory to 2-Akai, Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama. Improved the production and inspection divisions and began production of "contact rubber," a low-voltage, high-precision rubber products used in electronic devices. |
| February 1986 | Began production of O-ring, high-precision rubber products used in electronic devices. |
| October 1986 | Built and began operation of the Fukushima Factory. |
| April 1987 | Made the R & D division an independent subsidiary, the Fine Rubber Laboratories Co.,Ltd.(The present ASAHI FR R & D Co.,Ltd.), strengthening R & D operations. |
